About The Position

Our St. Remi Terminal is hiring for Company Class 1 Drivers. We offer a competitive base rate per mile and additional pay premiums for customer & border delays, border crossing, live load/unload, layover, trailer switches, breakdowns, safety, heavy haul, and expert fuel. We provide trips to the East USA, flexibility to set your hours (minimum 5 days out), paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 3 personal days. You will have dedicated, reliable, and well-maintained trucks. We also offer competitive group benefits including dental insurance and an employer RRSP match up to $1,000/year, along with an annual boot allowance. Maintenance shops are available in St. Remi, QC, Cambridge, ON, London, ON, and Windsor, ON.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age
Bilingual (English & French, spoken and written)
One year of verifiable commercial vehicle driving experience.
Clean driving record
Maximum three demerit points
Zero convictions or out-of-service events on abstract
Criminal record search (no offences under Criminal Code of Canada)
Professional attitude and desire to be part of an award-winning team

Responsibilities

Drive commercial vehicles between Canada and the USA.
Manage customer and border delays.
Perform live load/unload operations.
Handle layovers and trailer switches.
Respond to breakdowns.
Adhere to safety protocols.
Transport heavy loads.
Optimize fuel efficiency.
