About The Position

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership seeks a self-motivated, reliable, and organized individual for the Chatham Activities Board position. The Board Member will assist with fall/spring extracurricular programming on and off campus. This person should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to foster effective working relationships, creativity, a people person, and attention to detail. Applicants must be available for 8-10 office hours a week, occasional weekends, and late nights.

  • If 21 and has a valid driver’s license, a willingness to drive University vehicles and/or organize transportation to various activities
  • Notify other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time
  • Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year
  • Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan weekend and late night activities for the campus community
  • Complete about 10 office hours per week during the academic year
  • Recruit general members to serve on the CAB Committee
  • Create a vibrant campus life experience through innovative ideas and programming

Benefits

  • Compensation: Approx. 10 hours per week, $11.00 per hour
