We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Chassis Repair / Maintenance Technicians with experience in container repair to join our team. This role involves hands-on maintenance and repair of trailers, chassis, and containers, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- Experience in chassis/trailer/container repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of brake systems, lights, tires, and framework
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Must have basic set of hand tools
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Basic welding skills preferred not required
- Previous experience working in a Depot, port, terminal, or intermodal setting
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on chassis, trailers, and containers
- Diagnose and replace or repair lights, tires, landing legs, brakes, and framework
- Conduct minor welding and fabrication as needed
- Inspect equipment to identify issues and ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards
- Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
