In this position you will be responsible for delivering the brake NVH performance for the program(s) you are assigned to. In your role as a noise champion, you will lead a team of suppliers, CAE, D&R and brake development engineers to develop the brake NVH attribute to meet Ford requirements. NVH development at Ford is tied to GPDS timing. We start with CAE in the UNV0-2 phases, progress to dyno testing on the corner dynamometers at TPV and continue to final signoff on DCV vehicles for PEC.
Requirements
- Experience in delivering brake NVH performance.
- Experience leading teams of suppliers, CAE, D&R and brake development engineers.
- Knowledge of NVH development tied to GPDS timing.
- Experience with CAE in UNV0-2 phases.
- Experience with dyno testing on corner dynamometers.
- Experience with final signoff on DCV vehicles.
