About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Charter Operations Coordinator includes but is not limited to facilitating various levels of support to ensure operational safety and success of all charter activities and functions. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate distribution of information to multiple stakeholders including all SOC members, maintenance, vendors, external clients as well as the Sr. Manager of Charter Sales & Operations. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated self-starter who can quickly adjust to CommuteAir changes and demands and can execute excellent customer service that highlights our CORE4 values.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to coordinate and execute their Charter operational plan as needed.
  • Ensures that customer catering and onboard items are ordered and loaded as directed.
  • Maintain control and confidentiality of client manifests and security sensitive information.
  • Provide logistical coordination and assistance to all customers, crew members, third party vendors, and internal departments.
  • Answers phone calls from clients, vendors and other company personnel while maintaining a high level of professionalism during stressful situations.
  • Always maintain a high level of operational safety and integrity.
  • Serve as a Liaison with CommuteAir Security personnel to ensure all proper screening and regulatory requirements are in place for all charter flights.
  • Load, vet, and email customer manifests, review for errors, and process changes up to flight departure.
  • Monitor all charter flight movements and communicate information and delays to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Confirm services and handling requests arranged for charter operations.
  • Provide on-call coverage during nights/weekends/holidays to support CommuteAir Charter Flying.
  • Ensure all necessary overflight and landing permits, PPRs, etc. to guarantee airports are prepared to handle all charter flights.
  • Serves as a point of contact for internal CommuteAir contacts to assist SOC with any questions or concerns as they arise regarding Charter Flight Operations.
  • Assists with the development and execution of any contingency plans in coordination with Leadership.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks in a rapidly evolving airline operations environment.
  • Performs tasks in accordance with CommuteAir policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of operational safety and integrity.
  • Provide payment to all vendors for ground handling services rendered.
  • Complete other assigned duties by the Senior Manager of Charter Sales & Operations
