About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Charity Events Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in starting a career in nonprofit event planning, community outreach, fundraising, and program coordination.
As a Charity Events Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of charity events and fundraising initiatives. No prior professional experience is required—just a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for making an impact.

Requirements

• Strong interest in nonprofit work, community engagement, and event coordination
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Positive, self-motivated, and eager-to-learn mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

• College coursework in event management, nonprofit studies, marketing, or communications preferred
• Previous volunteer or event support experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing charity events and fundraising campaigns
• Support event logistics including setup, registration, volunteer coordination, and breakdown
• Engage with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and event participants to ensure a positive experience
• Help create, edit, and distribute event-related communications and promotional materials
• Track event performance, attendance, and fundraising results
• Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to align events with organizational goals
• Participate in post-event evaluations and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
