About The Position
We are currently hiring an enthusiastic and motivated Charity Events Assistant (Entry-Level) to support the planning and execution of charity events, nonprofit fundraisers, and community outreach programs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in event coordination, nonprofit work, fundraising, community engagement, and experiential event marketing. No prior experience is required. We provide paid training, hands-on event experience, and ongoing mentorship to help you build confidence and develop a strong foundation in nonprofit event operations and community-based marketing. As a Charity Events Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting mission-driven events that raise awareness, engage communities, and support nonprofit fundraising efforts. You will work closely with event coordinators and team members to ensure smooth execution from setup to completion. Requirements
- Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Positive, coachable, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events
- Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, event planning, or community engagement
Nice To Haves
- college coursework in communications, marketing, nonprofit studies, or related fields is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of charity and fundraising events
- Support on-site event logistics and day-of coordination
- Help manage volunteers and assist with event operations
- Engage with attendees, donors, and community members in a professional manner
- Handle event registration, guest sign-ins, and participant coordination
- Collect feedback and assist with post-event reporting and improvement tracking
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful event outcomes
- Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic event environment
