About The Position

This is a Charge Nurse position for a hybrid emergency room and urgent care facility. The role is full-time, working weekends only, days (7A-7P). The Charge Nurse acts as a resource for the department, coordinating care on designated shifts and providing leadership to staff members in patient care. Responsibilities include working alongside the team, providing direct patient care, determining staffing fluctuations, responding to departmental concerns, addressing immediate staff issues, and coordinating patient flow. This position has immediate oversight of employees performing similar work.

Requirements

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• One year of nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

• PALS required within 12 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities
