About The Position
The Charge RN leads and coordinates patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices in alignment with established standards. Serves as a clinical resource and supports high-quality patient outcomes. This unit offers a strong mix of orthopedic and surgical nursing, giving team members the opportunity to build expertise in post-operative care, rehabilitation, and patient education. Nurses play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, function, and independence following injury or surgery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state or compact state required
- BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
