About The Position
Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Women's Health Charge Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience
- CPR
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- National Certification in clinical specialty care
Responsibilities
- The Charge RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge.
- Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
- Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
- Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
