About The Position
Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Charge Registered Nurse in Roswell, NM. You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. You may also be eligible for relocation assistance. Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
- CPR
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Certification in clinical specialty
- National Certification in specialty care
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge.
- Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
- Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
- Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
