Charge Registered Nurse - Mental Health
About The Position
Regions Hospital has a great opportunity to join our nursing team as a Charge RN in Mental Health to work with an incredible team of people who have a passion for caring for others! Northeast 5 serves patients 18 years and older and are experiencing an acute mental health illness of high acuity. In addition, patients may have medical/surgical conditions that are being treated and require intervention. At Regions, we believe that mental health is as important to overall well-being as physical health. We are working to remove the stigma that surrounds mental illness so everyone can get the treatment they need. Regions Hospital is a leader in mental health. We are the largest provider of inpatient mental health services in the east metro. We treat all mental illnesses in adults at our state-of-the-art facility which means we can provide comprehensive, personalized care for all our patient’s needs, no matter how complex.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing
- Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
- CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
Nice To Haves
- BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
- Two (2) years experience in area of specialty preferred at 0.8 FTE, or above (minimum of 3328 hours).
- Mental Health RN experience
