About The Position

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing is required
  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire is required
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required or ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred
  • 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is preferred
  • 1 year Emergency department charge nurse is strongly preferred
