About The Position

Performs professional work at an advanced level to deliver nursing interventions that result in positive patient outcomes. Monitors patients for evaluations; nursing interventions by assisting with CQI & instructing other nurses in evaluating nursing interventions; organizes work to meet the hospital’s mission. Provide directions to other licensed & unlicensed health care providers. CQI monitoring for seclusion/restraints & medication administration. Performs related duties as required. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. This is a tobacco free campus. Applicants selected must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable causes as set forth in the bureau and agency polices. Applicants selected must successfully complete a background check. This position is eligible for an appointment incentive of $12,500.00 to the selected applicant who agrees to work for the facility for a minimum period of twelve (12) months.

Requirements

  • Current valid West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
  • Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Internal Applicants Only: One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse may substitute for the required experience.
