About The Position
The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates the delivery of nursing care. In alignment with Nursing Leadership, the Charge Nurse provides leadership in collaboration with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting. The role serves as a clinical and leadership resource and a role model for staff. Requirements
- RN license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification is required from day one for Charge Nurses.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
