Charge Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery Full Time Nights
About The Position
Manatee Memorial Hospital is hiring a full-time, night-shift Charge RN for Labor & Delivery. The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. The role coordinates multidisciplinary team members and directs and educates other nursing personnel to facilitate optimal healthcare outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies, procedures, standards, and philosophy. The Charge Nurse is expected to demonstrate Service Excellence at all times and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) is required.
- Current RN licensure in Florida.
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS through the American Heart Association.
- Current NRP.
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Current Labor & Delivery experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
