About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehabilitation, in partnership with Select Medical, is hiring a Registered Nurse to serve as a Nursing Supervisor at its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Beachwood, Ohio. The hospital provides care for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The role is full time on nights and includes an $18,000 sign-on bonus. The nurse directs assigned nursing personnel and oversees patient care while supporting continuity of care and patients’ individual care plans.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within the first six months of hire or promotion into the Nursing Supervisor position.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• CRRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel and serve as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implementing hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care and collaborate with appropriate people to support continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Help patients achieve goals and milestones outlined in their individual care plans.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
