Charge Nurse (RN) Full Time Days
About The Position
AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking a Full Time Charge Nurse (RN) for Day Shifts. The Charge Nurse will supervise the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPN/LVVs, and CNAs. They will communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The role requires responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The Charge Nurse is responsible for fostering a positive milieu in the hospital and keeping the CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place the facility at risk. Direct patient care will be provided as required based on staffing and patient acuity. Shift Differentials are paid for all Weekend Shifts. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Licensure of State of application.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification or completion of arrhythmia course required.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
