Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Two years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months of that experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Possession of a valid, current RN license as approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners.
Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in our healthcare team by providing high-quality nursing care and supporting unit objectives and administrative policies.
- Perform both general and specialized nursing duties within your legal scope of practice.
- Assist the Facility Health Administrator (FHA) in overseeing clinic personnel.
- Interact regularly with both patients and clinic staff to ensure the delivery of safe and competent care.
- Make daily assignments and ensure completion of tasks.
- Communicate patient data using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to support decision making and improve patient care.
- Administer or assist with medication administration and documentation.
- Support unit goals by attending meetings and sharing information with staff.
- Participate in quality audits.
- Maintain documentation to ensure standards of care and policy compliance.
- Conduct job evaluations and handle disciplinary actions.
- Keep accurate records of employee performance.
