Position Summary As a Charge Nurse (LPN/RN), you will oversee day-to-day nursing operations on your unit, ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care. Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in South Carolina (required)
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
  • Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff on assigned unit
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care team
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
  • Serve as a leader and mentor, promoting teamwork and accountability
