About The Position

The Primary Charge will assist in overseeing and directing work of nursing personnel engaging in providing patient/nursing care services to patients on assigned shifts. Demonstrates accountability for ensuring safe high quality patient care, enhance the patient /family experience, and provide effective leadership contributing to the delivery of the organization's objectives. Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, and serves as a resource person for unit personnel resolving operational and patient care problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 3 years of date of hire into role
• RN-Registered Nurse
• BLS - American Heart Association
• ACLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years experience on the unit or similar unit
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
