About The Position

Valle Verde, a HumanGood community in Santa Barbara recently named "Best CCRC in the U.S." by Newsweek magazine is hiring a Full-Time Charge Nurse, RN for its skilled nursing team. This role is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating the "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care." The Charge Nurse ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm.

Requirements

• Current RN License in the state for which applying
• Current CPR certification
• Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the nursing needs of residents.
• Actively incorporate the "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care."
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm.
