About The Position
Texas Health HEB is seeking a Charge Nurse/RN for the Operating Room. This is a PRN position with evening shifts. The role involves demonstrating the Quality Caring Model principles, including Basic Human Needs, Human Respect, Affiliation Needs, Appreciation of Unique Meanings, Mutual Problem Solving, Attentive Reassurance, Encouraging Manner, and Healing Environment. The position is part of a team-based environment with a strong Unit Based Council (UBC) and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma (Nursing) required OR Associate’s Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
- Operating Room experience required
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
- 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting preferred
