We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse- RN/LPN to join our Northridge Village team! The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school.
  • Must be currently licensed in state of which applying without encumbrance.
  • Responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements.
  • Must possess a current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents.
  • Makes daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the residents condition and comfort.
  • Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
  • Follows infection control guidelines.
  • Initiates procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
  • Assesses and evaluates resident change of condition and institutes appropriate interventions.
  • Communicates with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assures follow through.
