Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire
  • NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days
  • ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
  • CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Charge nurse experience
  • Radiology, procedural, Interventional Radiology, and/or Cath Lab experience

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the eight caring factors: Basic Human Needs, Human Respect, Affiliation Needs, Appreciation of Unique Meanings, Mutual Problem Solving, Attentive Reassurance, Encouraging Manner, and Healing Environment.
