Charge Nurse LVN - Full Time
About The Position
Royal Oaks in Duarte, CA, is seeking a Full Time Charge Nurse LVN to join its Assisted Living/Wellness team. This role is responsible for the nursing needs of residents while actively incorporating the "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care." The Charge Nurse ensures a safe and healthy environment and participates in the resident’s daily life rhythm. This position involves developing assignments in coordination with care partners and holding team members accountable for resident care and satisfaction. The shift is split between Assisted Living and Wellness departments with a 4/2 schedule.
Requirements
- Current LVN/LPN in the state for which applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
Responsibilities

- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm.
- Help develop assignments in coordination with the care partners.
- Keep each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.
