About The Position

Epworth Villa is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their team as Charge Nurses. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, work collaboratively with a dedicated care team, and provide personalized care that impacts residents' lives. The position is located in Oklahoma City and involves providing attentive, resident-centered nursing care, leading and inspiring a care team, communicating care plans, monitoring resident conditions, administering medications and treatments, completing documentation, and serving as a point of contact for families. The role also involves championing safety and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

  • Active LPN or RN license
  • At least two years of nursing experience, including leadership or charge nurse responsibilities.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (American Heart Association).
  • A warm, approachable communication style and a team-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for mentoring others and delivering excellent resident care.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, resident-centered nursing care that supports the whole person.
  • Support CNAs, CMAs, Ward Clerks, and Restorative Aides while helping create a positive, team-first environment.
  • Communicate care plans clearly with staff, residents, and families.
  • Monitor resident conditions, prioritize care, and report changes or concerns promptly.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with IV care and tube feedings as needed.
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain clinical records in line with policies and regulations.
  • Offer families reassurance, updates, and compassionate communication.
  • Promote safety, privacy, and dignity in everything you do.
  • Help orient and mentor new team members through training and hands-on support.
