About The Position

Serve as a front-line leader in a collaborative environment that is surrounded by state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice and a strong interdisciplinary team on this inpatient medical surgical unit. Enhance your leadership skills through serving as a mentor for nurses to advance their knowledge and skills, involvement in monitoring of nursing quality metrics, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with management for unit hiring and patient experience rounding. Optimize patient and staff outcomes through resource utilization and distribution of patient care assignments.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience in an inpatient unit
  • 2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years’ experience in an inpatient unit
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • ACLS within 180 Days

Nice To Haves

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing
  • 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit
  • Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population
  • National certification in relevant specialty
