About The Position

Nova Bus is seeking a Project Manager, Industrialization to join their team. This role involves pushing the boundaries of sustainable public transport by developing innovative solutions. The position offers a collaborative, stimulating, and evolving environment where contributions make a real difference. The project manager will be responsible for the planning, management, updating, and execution of assigned projects, working within a multidisciplinary team and providing functional supervision. The project portfolio is diverse and related to the ongoing industrial transformation within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or administration, a Master's degree in project management, or any relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in project management, including two (2) years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate leadership and communication skills.
  • Good change management skills.
  • Comfortable in an environment where priorities change rapidly.
  • Good understanding of issues and dynamics related to contract management and their financial aspects.
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software (MS Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingualism (French/English).

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for the execution of the assigned project portfolio by evaluating the organization's capacity to meet commitments according to deadlines.
  • Develop a communication plan, inform all stakeholders, and mobilize them to achieve objectives.
  • Manage budgets and capitalization requests.
  • Establish the list of project deliverables in collaboration with the team.
  • Coordinate weekly project reviews and the interface between different company functions.
  • Evaluate risks and implement required action and mitigation plans.
  • Establish performance indicators as needed.
  • Update key indicators and present project progress to various stakeholders.
  • Initiate, support, participate in, and encourage involvement in the improvement of processes related to projects.
