About The Position

As a Charcuterie Specialist, this position will be responsible for ordering, replenishing, and merchandising charcuterie prepared foods products. You will work to maintain attractive displays and supporting the store vision. Additionally you will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year Specialty experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of charcuterie products.
  • Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
  • Must be physically able to perform medium work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying of objects of no more than 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Ordering, replenishing, and merchandising charcuterie prepared foods products.
  • Maintaining attractive displays and supporting the store vision.
  • Ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.
  • Providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
  • Smiling and greeting customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee’s designated department or elsewhere in the store.
  • Making an effort to learn customers’ names and to address them by name whenever possible.
  • Assisting customers by: escorting them to the products they’re looking for, securing products that are out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests, and performing other tasks in every way possible to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Answering the telephone and emails promptly and providing friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
  • Taking customer orders with consistency and accuracy.
  • Working with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
  • Understanding and practicing proper sanitation procedures and ensuring the work area is always clean and neat.
  • Ordering all charcuterie products, maintaining adequate back stock levels.
  • Processing invoices and returns.
  • Maximizing sales potential through effective and proper procedures for stocking product.
  • Completing spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
  • Reviewing the status and appearance of the food for freshness.
  • Adhering to company policies and individual store guidelines.
  • Reporting to work when scheduled and on time.
  • Performing other job-related duties and special projects as required.
