About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. The Characterization Scientist will perform routine biochemical analyses for characterization of monoclonal antibodies in support of pharmaceutical development. This includes tasks such as peptide mapping, oligosaccharide mapping, or other routine methods. The role involves sample preparation, distribution, and data collection for primary structure studies. The scientist will also conduct analysis and reporting of data in accordance with departmental requirements and ensure maintenance of detailed documentation of assay development and qualification.

Requirements

Completed Bachelor's degree in a scientific concentration
Basic understanding of Chemistry of amino acids and protein structure
Knowledge of LC and LC/MS is required
Ability to perform minimal instrument maintenance
Must be highly organized
Good written and verbal communication skills are required
Must maintain laboratory notebooks in a GXP compliant manner and write technical memos
Authorization to work in the United Sates indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities
