About The Position

Assists patients, families, and staff experiencing physical, emotional, and spiritual distress. Provides ministry addressing patients’ health needs, fosters a community of pastoral care, and provides services and resources requested by patients or families. Supports patients’ spiritual and faith-based needs during their hospital stay, offering guidance, recommendations, and resources while ensuring religious beliefs are considered in the plan of care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with spiritual and faith-based needs during their hospital stay.
• Provide guidance, recommendations, and resources.
• Ensure religious beliefs are considered in the plan of care.
• Assist patients, families, and staff in times of physical, emotional, and spiritual distress.
• Provide ministry to patients’ health needs and foster a community of pastoral care.
• Provide services and resources as requested by patients or families.
