About The Position
Chaplains provide spiritual care to patients, families, and caregivers, fostering spiritual resources for healing. The role includes supporting people through difficult circumstances and providing care to people of all faith groups, ages, and conditions. This PRN, on-call position requires 24/7 availability and the ability to be on-site within 30 minutes. The schedule is listed as 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with nights and call.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of at least four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), or a bachelor's degree, three years of ministry experience, and satisfactory completion of one or two CPE units, with the expectation of completing four CPE units within two years of hire.
- Credentialing, certification, or eligibility within two years through a certifying organization, or certification as an Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) educator.
- One year of ministry experience.
- Availability 24/7 and ability to be on-site within 30 minutes.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Divinity or equivalent.
