About The Position
The chaplain will perform duties and responsibilities of a professional chaplain within Prisma Health. The chaplain will be responsible to the Director of Pastoral Care Services. This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. Our vision is simple: to transform healthcare for the benefits of the communities we serve. Requirements
- Masters of Divinity or Theological Studies
- 1 year of Ministry experience
- Licensed, endorsed and ordained by faith/denominational group (Lawson Code COTR)
- One Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education required
Nice To Haves
- 4 units CPE will be considered the equivalent of 1 year pastoral care experience
- Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements. In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
Responsibilities
- Delivers direct service and professional pastoral care.
- Serves as liaison between hospital system and the religious community.
