About The Position
As a Chaplain in our Hospice team, you will play a vital role in assessing and addressing the spiritual and emotional needs of hospice patients, their families, staff, and volunteers. You will collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure holistic patient care and manage the bereavement program, maintaining continuity of care and support during difficult times.
Requirements
- College graduate with a background in pastoral studies or equivalent studies.
Nice To Haves
- Past experience in dealing with terminal illness and bereavement issues.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify the spiritual and emotional needs of hospice patients and their families.
- Support staff and volunteers in addressing their emotional and spiritual well-being.
- Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team to provide comprehensive patient/family care.
- Implement and manage the hospice bereavement program.
- Ensure continuity of care by meeting the ongoing needs of patients and families.
