Requirements

  • 5-year minimum working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Experience and industry knowledge with security video, camera and access control
  • Strategy and business plan development experience
  • A creative and analytical style with the ability to build consensus through strong conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with people from a variety of technical and cultural backgrounds.
  • Recognized as a thought leader and authority on partner development
  • Experience, demeanor and humility to quickly garner respect and credibility with key internal and external constituencies and the horsepower to rally the organization around a strategic vision and game plan.
  • Confident enough to challenge the status quo and the courage to take a stand along with the savvy to know when to make the tough call and when to employ diplomacy and patience.
  • Possesses a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy, roadmap, and financial metrics for the commercialization of Commercial Security products and services to achieve rapid growth and established margin goals.
  • Engage with commercial and technology communities across various sectors, fostering collaboration to create revenue opportunities.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talent, ensuring successful adoption and implementation of our technologies.
  • Provide leadership to promote a culture of innovation and customer-focused value proposition adoption.
  • Assess the market landscape continuously, identifying strategic partnership opportunities to accelerate commercialization.
  • Act as a spokesperson for Johnson Controls, promoting our vision and capabilities through public engagements, media, and partner events.
  • Work on the commercial development of our products to ensure market requirements are exceeded.
  • Collaborate with external partners to expand product market presence.
  • Lead global commercial training efforts, ensuring clear communication about our products' value and opportunities.
  • Develop and operationalize a business plan to generate over $10M in annual revenue.
  • Own and enhance the onboarding process for new partners.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients to identify and secure new opportunities.
