Change Risk Management, VP

State StreetBoston, MA
$90,000 - $157,500

About The Position

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department at State Street is responsible for the identification, analysis, and management of risk at both the corporate-level and in partnership with the business units in support of their activities. This is accomplished by balancing our growth and revenue targets with appropriate risk oversight, policies, guidelines and limits, as well as support provided by risk management professionals. Strategic Risk within ERM is focused on the management of risks arising from State Street’s business strategy and its execution and risks related to a lack of appropriate adaptation to changes in the industry and broader environment. A core driver of Strategic Risk is the design, delivery and implementation of enterprise change, including new business and product development, M&A, lift-outs, strategic change programs and broader strategy execution, where the pace, scale and complexity of change can materially affect the firm's risk profile. Led by the Head of Operational Resiliency, Third Party, and Strategic Risk, the Strategic Risk practice at State Street is an emerging practice for the firm, and the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and influence its evolution.
