Job Summary The Change Management Specialist identifies, manages, and maintains all change management activities in the Ziply fiber network as well as monitoring third party change activity. This is a fully on-site role in Everett, WA; remote or hybrid work is not available.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing end-to-end telecommunications support.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct customer support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in utilizing network monitoring tools.
  • Experienced in analyzing network topology to identify impacted network elements and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within critical deadlines.
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Understanding of network topology
  • Knowledge of process documentation, procedures, and systems.
  • Knowledge with the operation of routers and switches.

Responsibilities

  • Process internal and third-party change management requests into the CM system.
  • Communicate across multiple business units to coordinate scheduling for change management events.
  • Resolves scheduling conflicts with internal business units as well as third parties.
  • Research to identify customers’ contact information to notify the customer about service affecting CMs within the SLA.
  • Monitoring and replying to email correspondence pertaining to CM work with internal and external parties.
  • Run a regular cadence of informative meetings across multiple business units to inform about change activity within the network.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.
