Change Coordinator

GE HealthCareBeachwood, OH
Onsite

About The Position

Our Cleveland site, home to MIM Software within GE HealthCare’s Advanced Imaging Solutions segment, develops AI-enabled imaging analytics and workflow platforms that help clinicians turn complex medical images into meaningful insights, so they can diagnose conditions, plan treatments, and deliver more personalized patient care. The Change Coordinator is responsible for the administration that drives and coordinates software product changes from initiation through release. This role does not own software engineering execution; it owns the change/release process, system accuracy, and readiness coordination required to take developed software to market. This role is highly collaborative with other job functions, all sharing the common goal of software release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical/scientific preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience coordinating and communicating cross-functional work (Engineering, QARA, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Service) in a regulated or process-controlled environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent changes/releases and drive action closure.
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn enterprise systems quickly.
  • Working knowledge of change control concepts and strong documentation discipline (accuracy, completeness, audit readiness).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software configuration management concepts (versioning, baselines) and SBOM creation/maintenance preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical device software lifecycle expectations (design control, traceability, release documentation) a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in MyWorkshop (ENOVIA) administering product structures, changes, and releases preferred.
  • Experience supporting downstream readiness across commercial/service/finance systems (e.g., quoting configuration artifacts, ServiceMax, GLPROD/cost center alignment) preferred.
  • Experience facilitating governance forums (CRB, release readiness reviews, gate reviews) and driving cross-functional decision-making a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate software change control in MyWorkshop (ENOVIA).
  • Create and maintain change objects (e.g., ECR/ECO as applicable).
  • Ensure correct routing, status progression, approver engagement, and completion criteria through approval and release.
  • Align with cross-functional stakeholders (Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Commercial/Marketing, and Service) to ensure that releases and change records are compliant, audit-ready, and operationally enabled.
  • Own process execution of the end-to-end change/release workflow.
  • Proactively remove blockers, follow up with action owners, and drive items to closure.
  • Partner closely with Program Management and Engineering to ensure that the product structure and software bills of materials (SBOMs) are configured correctly.
  • Understand and follow record requirements applicable to products.
  • Support readiness and documentation activities required to sell/quote the release.
  • Partner with Service teams to ensure correct identifiers are represented in service tools (e.g., ServiceMax) to support install base accuracy and service execution.
  • Facilitate Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.
  • Track where releases are in the change/release process, communicate dependencies and risks, and coordinate multiple releases/workstreams concurrently.
  • Identify recurring process/system pain points and implement improvements to templates, workflows, and standard work to improve compliance and throughput.
