About The Position

Wright Beverage Distributing is seeking a Chain Sales Relief Representative to join their team. This role involves training and development opportunities for growth. The position's vision is to strategically leverage the WBD product portfolio to sell and service assigned accounts within the off-premise channel, aiming to grow the business. The representative will be responsible for achieving volume and distribution goals, adhering to retail and quality standards, and consistently demonstrating WBD core values. Key aspects include understanding market drivers, assisting customers in maximizing sales and profitability, executing sales and marketing strategies, and engaging in personal development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma.
  • Minimum: Strong communication skills including verbal & written.
  • Minimum: Strong math skills and proficient in Microsoft office applications.
  • Minimum: Ability to work in a team environment at retail and with co-workers.
  • Minimum: Must maintain a professional attitude in all situations and represent WBD in a professional and responsible manner at all times
  • Minimum: 2 years in sales position
  • Must hold a valid, clean NYS drivers license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve established WBD volume and distribution goals.
  • Adhere to WBD retail and quality standards while upholding delivery schedule.
  • Consistently demonstrates WBD core values.
  • Understand the market drivers that may impact WBDs business.
  • Assist customers in maximizing their sales and profitability.
  • Execute WBD sales and marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Execute personal development initiatives as set forth by the Chain Sales Supervisor.
  • Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Must comply with all training requirements, ie. I Sell Beer.
  • Assist in determining where WBD needs to improve sustainable market share while focusing on strategic execution.
  • Work with Sales Rep and Supervisor to establish specific objectives.
  • Ensure WBD priorities are maintained as defined by Management.
  • To provide best in class customer service aligned with WBD quality and sales standards.
  • Build and maintain a favorable reputation with all customers.
  • Address customer concerns in a timely fashion, to maintain positive business relationships.
  • Follow the structured sales call frequency and sequence for all assigned accounts.
  • Follow WBD 10 steps to a sales call.
  • Execute against all company incentives and business objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities.
  • Maintain WBD quality, retail and merchandising standards.
  • Communicate all customer concerns with Sales Supervisor.
  • Maintain all WBD equipment and report to supervisor/ IT manager with any concerns.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all WBD products.
  • Must be proficient in calculating markup and margin.
  • Execute Quality Audits assigned by management.
  • Execute cooler resets when directed.
