About The Position

Contribute to area sales objectives by merchandising and servicing assigned accounts and completing related duties. The position involves visiting accounts on schedule, maintaining product and displays to company standards, and following company and customer safety guidelines. Working conditions include an office environment and travel to and from customer accounts, with interior and exterior work. The posting lists a pay rate of $17.35 per hour and also states a starting pay rate of $18.44 per hour. Requirements

Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED.
Maintain a valid driver's license.
Two years of merchandising, sales, and/or customer-contact experience.
Ability to use office equipment, including a computer, phone, fax machine, copier, and calculator.
Knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Clean shelving, rotate products, and verify correct shelf prices.
Build, merchandise, and maintain secondary and promotional displays according to company standards.
Merchandise and fill coolers, vendors, and racks to standard on each visit, where applicable.
Call on each account as scheduled.
Create, develop, and maintain strong rapport in every account.
Manage, rotate, and maintain back-stock where applicable.
Collect and organize damaged product in a designated area.
Relay customer requests to the immediate supervisor.
Attend scheduled meetings and participate actively.
Attend training sessions.
Follow company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
