The associate is responsible for greeting all customers and providing them with prompt, courteous service, and assistance to help resolve customer concerns promptly, in a polite and professional manner. This role involves following company policy relating to increasing customer satisfaction, working cooperatively and maintaining an open line of communication with applicable departments in the store including the Store Management team, Department Managers, and Night Crew. The CGO Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the CGO system throughout the entire store, investigating and resolving balance on hand issues, and understanding and utilizing all required applications and current technology as relates to CGO Operations. They must ensure all reports and records are accurate, complete, and retained in accordance with Company policy, and make appropriate decisions based on all applicable reports to ensure optimum profitability. This role includes creating daily pick lists, performing daily Out of Stock counts, investigating reasons for out-of-stock conditions, and resolving miss-picks or forecasting issues. The CGO Coordinator also creates secondary display settings within CGO as directed by the Store Manager, identifies planogram integrity issues, and assists with the signage of out-of-stock merchandise. They maintain the “Blue Chip” program of secondary product locations and review salvage and transfer processes to assure accurate balance on hand. Collaboration with the Regional CGO analyst is expected to resolve issues and concerns regarding out-of-stock conditions. Additionally, the role involves general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure work areas, equipment, counters, display counters, and display cases are well maintained, clean, and meet all health and OSHA requirements. Proper disposal of trash is also a responsibility. All duties must be performed in accordance with all Company policies and programs, and all Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations, including environmental, health, safety, and security policies. The associate is responsible for the utilization of all company-provided Personal Protected Equipment (PPE). Other staff duties as required may include assisting in other departments. This position indirectly supervises associates working in the department, with the specific number depending on store size.
