Provides rehabilitative services to children/youth under the age of 21 who are Medicaid eligible and meet medical necessity. All Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) services can be delivered in the community where the child/youth lives, attends school, and/or engages in services. CPST services are goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions intended to achieve identified goals or objectives per the child/youth, family/caregiver, or other collateral supports. CPTS is a comprehensive service and includes but is not limited to: Intensive Interventions (counseling), crisis avoidance (counseling), Immediate Team crisis management (counseling) provided by a Master's degree CPST provider. CPST services also may include the delivery of Rehabilitative Psychoeducation, strength-based service planning, and rehabilitative supports; these services may be provided by a Bachelor's or master's level CPST provider.
