CFOR Lab Prep Assistant
About The Position
The Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science is accepting applications for Lab Prep Assistant(s). Appointment is for the Fall 2026 semester, with the option to renew as openings are available. Primary responsibilities will be but are not limited to the following: -Assist in chemical preparation in a laboratory setting -General lab functions such as, making labels, cleaning glassware, etc -Maintaining the stockroom while staying compliant with safety standards Successful candidates must be enrolled full-time at EKU and meet eligibility requirements for Federal Work Study and/or Institutional Work Study.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled full-time at EKU
- Must meet eligibility requirements for Federal Work Study and/or Institutional Work Study
- Completion of CHE 111/112 and labs with a grade of "B " or higher
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a degree in Chemistry or related STEM program
