About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) located in Derby, CT.

Requirements

• MBA in Finance or Accounting, or BA/BS in Finance or Accounting with 10+ yrs exp. or AA/AS with 15+ yrs appropriate exp. w/ increasing responsibility
• 5+ years experience overseeing multiple departments or disciplines, preferably in non-profit, grant-funded environment
• 10+ years supervisory experience
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to set up and maintain systems
• Strong Excel skills
• IT knowledge
• Automated payroll system knowledge
• Ability to hear conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
• Ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses
• Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
• Ability to function within guidelines of Agency’s core values
• Identification with Agency mission
• Ability to build consensus and motivate employees

• Previous experience with Blackbaud
