Requirements

  • We are looking for a reliable, motivated and high energy person with a desire to pursue a lucrative trade in the Fire Alarm industry.
  • No previous experience required and on the job training provided.
  • High school or post-secondary course in electronics or fire safety is considered an asset.
  • Enrolled in or completed CFAA courses preferred.
  • Willingness to join the union and progress as a licensed CFAA over time.
  • G license required.

Responsibilities

  • Filling out work orders and inspection documents.
  • Assist with inspections of Fire alarm systems.
  • Assist with service and repairs to fire alarm systems as required.
  • Assist with installations of various system types.
  • Perform inspections of fire extinguishers and extinguishing systems.
  • Perform inspections and repairs of emergency lighting systems.
  • Address customer service inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies.
  • Assist with building maintenance.
  • Assist other service technicians and sales staff as required.
  • Assist with shop work as required.
  • Work to assure branch profitability.
