About The Position

The RN - Enterostomal shall be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of our Enterstomal and Wound Care Program with regard to current standards of care and practice, changing technology, and identified quality improvement activities. The maintenance of clinical proficiency is a must and direct patient care may be included in this role as needed. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• ADN with Bachelors degree required, BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required.
• Enterostomal/Wound Care certification required.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
• Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
• Much exposure to computer work.
• Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
• Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
• Some exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Occasional exposure to radiation.
