About The Position

Winchester Hospital, a 5x Magnet designated and Top Massachusetts recognized 226-bed regional hospital, is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. We are seeking a Certified Wound Care RN for our Inpatient Wound Care Team. In this role, you will serve as a clinical expert, utilizing current knowledge and research to provide consultation, education, and clinical support for patients, caregivers, and staff in the areas of wound, ostomy, and continence care. You will collaboratively work with all members of the health care team, the patient, and the patient’s family to achieve expected outcomes. You will practice in accordance with Winchester Hospital’s policies and procedures and the scope of practice for Registered Nurses in Massachusetts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
  • Certified Wound Certification (CWCN) required.
  • At least two years of recent professional nursing experience with wound care.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in obtaining your Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (CWON) certification or Wound, Ostomy and Continence certification (CWOCN) is strongly preferred.
  • Active membership in a professional organization is preferred.
