About The Position
Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. There are day and second shift positions available. This job is in Dyersburg, Tennessee. This is an in-house job with no travel. The company provides excellent benefits. People work 10 hour shifts, four days a week. There is no per diem, since this is direct employment, not contract work.
Requirements
- Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
Nice To Haves
- Non Destructive Testing Inspector / Nondestructive evaluation (NDE Technician) experience.
- Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI).
Responsibilities
- Onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
- Inspection and test of structures and welds.
- Identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.
- Read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints.
- Produce reports in desired formats.
