We are expanding in the Portland market and are seeking Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI’s) across all experience levels. Our current backlog includes several large, multi-year projects in the region, providing long-term stability and meaningful project involvement for our team. Requirements
- Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Nice To Haves
- ICC Structural Steel & Bolting
- Other ICC Certifications such as Proprietary Anchors, Reinforced Concrete, etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes
- Read and interpret construction documents, RFIs, and structural details
- Conduct required field testing and inspections within certification scope
- Prepare accurate and timely daily reports
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and internal staff
- Maintain and pursue relevant certifications
- Uphold strong safety practices in all field environments
- Participating in continuing education and professional development
